Swim

Welcome back!

It’s great to welcome you back! You will notice the new timetable looks very different to the pre-Covid timetable, but we hope there is something for everyone and that you’ll bear with us if your favourite swim times are not available currently.  It has been challenging creating pool timetables that meet the diverse needs of the community, whilst also ensuring that social distancing guidelines are met.

The new timetable will run until 4th October, after which we will review it and make any changes that might be needed.  You will see some spaces in the timetable between sessions to allow for cleaning and sanitisation. We have also allowed spaces for clubs, school and swimming lessons which will be resuming shortly.

As well as changes to the timetable, there are changes to the way your visit to the centre is managed, all of which are set out below. These are new to us all, so please bear with us whilst we all get used to them. These changes are designed to ensure we are complying fully with all government safety advice and keeping our colleagues and customers safe.

For your comfort and safety, you will see our staff carrying out regular intensive cleaning before, during and after each session, and they have all been trained according to Covid-19 guidelines. Please help them by adhering to any signs, notice and instructions given.

Opening dates

The swimming pools at Denbigh, Rhyl and Ruthin Leisure Centres re-opened on Tuesday 1st September. The swimming pool at Nova Prestatyn re-opened on Monday 7th September. The refurbishment at Corwen Leisure Centre is progressing well, and we will advise on a reopening date as soon as we are able.
