The Dragon sports scheme focuses on introducing children from 7-11 years old into athletics, cricket, football, hockey, netball, rugby, golf, and tennis.
Dragon Sport Co-ordinators provide step-by-step advice and training to help schools, sports clubs and volunteers deliver Dragon Sport.

If a child would like to take part in a Dragon Sport session, they can do so by either joining an after school club at their primary school, or by contacting the Dragon Sport Officer using the contact details below.
Parents, grandparents, students and other volunteers have much to offer children through sport and are strongly encouraged to become involved in Dragon Sport.
To become a qualified organiser , you must be 18 or over, attend a Dragon Sport workshop and hold one of the following qualifications:
Recognised Play Worker or Youth Worker qualification.
Community Sports Leader Award
Current national governing body leader or coach award
Teacher qualification
Girlguiding Cymru Leadership qualification
Scout Association Wood Badge holder
If you would prefer to help alongside a qualified organiser, you can if you have attended a Dragon Sport workshop. Helpers must be over 13 years old.
